Seth Toback, MD

Dr. Toback is the senior vice president of medical affairs with responsibility for overseeing evidence generation, medical communications, external engagement with key opinion leaders and medical information. Dr. Toback joined Novavax in July 2020, bringing nearly two decades of experience in vaccines and therapeutics against respiratory viruses. Prior to joining Novavax, Dr. Toback was Vice President of Global Medical Affairs at bioMerieux. Previously, he served in leadership roles at United Therapeutics, PRA Health Sciences, Gilead Science, and MedImmune, a subsidiary of AstraZeneca. Dr. Toback is a board-certified Pediatrician and has also held roles in private practice pediatrics. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and undergraduate degree from McGill University.
